Questions were, Photos in iCloud and a discussion regarding passwords.
Our first presentation was Blipfoto where you can up-load your photo of the day.
Blipfoto is a web based photo gallery where you can show your favourite daily photograph, tons of photos are being displayed continuously, up-load your photo, give it a title and a description and publish. You can view the gallery of the photos up-loaded by other people, new photos are being up-loaded all the time so entries are moved along as new ones appear your, entry will be quickly moved along as well. You are able view your own photos as they will be in your personal gallery. Selecting any photo and it will open as a larger view with the date added and any comments, you can also make a comment on any of the other entries.
Next was an intro to PhotoBooth
Look at the iSight camera, click the camera icon, there will be a count-down and a after the tone a photo will be taken. Photos are placed in the panel under the main window. You can also make movies, decide what you want to say and do before you begin, write a script or you may forget everything.
Making a movie, look into the iSight camera, click the movie camera icon there will be a count-down and after the beeb the movie will start, click the camera icon in the centre below the main window to stop. The movie are placed in the panel under the main window. You can movie a serious message, an amusing movie, sing, play a musical instrument, or sign for a deaf person, or hold up a written message. Don’t do or say anything daft, if you do don’t share it on YouTube etc. There are also sections of some effects, these are a bit strange.
John then used his iPod to show us a live Italian language news broadcast and then demonstrated how to reduce battery drain on an iPod by closing unused sections and apps.
