Mike had a few questions regarding MacKeeper, ZipCloud & JustCloud.

The demonstration was how to use Quick Look that will allow you to view all the files,
pictures and movies in a folder.
What you have to do is locate the folder where you keep the documents, pictures photos or movies you want to look at open the fold and then select all.

In finder click the Flower icon, where you would look for get info or from File in the Menu bar and hold drop down to Quick Look, the Quick Look panel will open showing the contents of the folder.

Click any of the icons and a larger view will be shown using the full screen arrows, click the block icon that shows all the files, you can make a slide show. If you have included a movie in your selection it can be played in the usual way.

You can have a look at multi-page documents, click the block icon that shows all the files, you can fill the screen with icons of your files and make a screen shot that can be imported into a document as a picture.

Your selection can shared to a variety of places, like Facebook Twitter iPhoto etc. or they can be
e-mailed as a single item.

Mick then gave us an explanation of iCloud and the difference it has between iCloud Drive.

There was some help from Mick and John regarding MacTV

Next meeting will be on Wednesday 25th February at the Pheasant Inn Salisbury 7.30 - 9.30 pm

Just in case it didn't come up at the meeting, you can also activate Quicklook by simply selecting a file in the finder and tapping the spacebar. You can then use the arrow keys to step through the files in the folder.

I would describe the Quick Look icon as an "eye" rather than a flower.

However thanks for highlighting the Quick Look facility
