John Hooper described the Time Machine and Time Capsule functions and capabilities and how to use them to back up one's files. Comparison was made to the SuperDuper clone methodology and how that the process are different but several members use both processes.
The discussion moved on to controlling one screen from another machine. John introduced the TeamViewer program that allows several users to communicate and see the screens of other people in a conference call. The program is free for private use.
The discussion then went on to discussing using Numbers on an iPad and also on Mac OSX, we used the iPad to projector adapter to project the iPad screen.
Next meeting may well involve a demo of the WAMUG slide copier.
