The first picture was of a tourist sign board that was photographed at about 60 degrees from the perpendicular, this image was converted into a square image and then the image enhanced with a bit of "levels".
The second task was to correct a distorted panorama image of a long advertising hoarding.
Third task was to remove the keystone error from a photo of a tall building.
Finally a rather boring picture of a Gila Woodpecker on a Saguaro Cactus was used to construct a greeting card with decorated text and a rather nice blue sky with clouds.
The speaker was pleased to hear the magic words "I did not know that" from some of the attendees.
The meeting then broke up into perhaps the most important part of the meeting which is where numerous topics and discussions take place ranging from setting up an iPad to sharing images between different machines using the Aperture Slideshow feature.
