It was a fairly short presentation this month, looking at some of the simple but oft neglected features of iPhoto. We concentrated mainly on the search function particularly using keywords previously assigned to photographs. Most people had tried a simple search for photographs marked with a keyword but we discovered how to search for keyword one AND keyword two, keyword one AND NOT keyword two and finally keyword one OR keyword two. We then moved on to rectifying some problems with the iPhoto library including rebuilding the thumbnail cache or rebuilding the library itself.
Most of the session was spent problem-solving for people who had issues but it then wandered off topic into a very entertaining discussion on flying helicopters from Middle Wallop!
