So what was this marvellous technology, it was a magical pen which when used to write on an A4 notepad appeared on the big screen. Magic it wasn't, but it did show the latest Bluetooth technology in the guise of Papershow (http://www.papershow.com). This device seemed ideal for presenters, taking the place of the large interactive white board and for £120.00 (ish) perhaps WAGs might get one when it becomes available...
We followed this with a presentation by Terry on Netbooks and 'Hackintosh'. Although Apple don't currently make a Netbook others do and it is possible to run OSX on some of these, hence "Hackintosh" (http://www.hackintosh.com). The arguments put forward involved cost, size and use, hopefully proving useful to those with an experimental nature! Hopefully very thought provoking and there's more to follow on this next month...
After Coffee and Doughnuts, we went on to discuss using Television on the Mac. This broadened out into the digital debate and include receiving the signal via USB receivers, Satellite connections and various online methods. This opened up to a wide debate on Tv in general which all seemed to enjoy.
See you next time...
