Numbers were a bit down this month hopefully that was just because it was summer. Nevertheless we had the usual enthusiastic bunch hanging on the presenter's every word! This month's presenter was Barry and he was showing us just how easy it is to transfer an iPhoto slideshow into iDVD. To demonstrate this we were treated to a slideshow Barry had compiled from photographs he took on a trip to Canada a couple of years ago. We looked at adding titles, chapters, and sound and laying these all on to one of Apple's themes. Barry made it look very easy but obviously ground work and preperation beforehand will pay dividends in the end result.
As usual we started off the session with the question and answers that are now such a popular part of each meeting and after the presentation there was still plenty of time for us to chat about our individual Mac problems and experiences. To round off the evening a few of us made the usual trip to the local Italian restaurant.
As the school is closed for the holidays during the whole of August our next meeting will not be until the first Wednesday of September. Come and join us, you'd be most welcome.
